Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani are all set to star in the romantic drama Satyaprem Ki Katha, and they have given a glimpse of their on-screen love story in a new teaser.
The video, shared by Kartik on his Instagram Reels, shows the duo as a happy couple who enjoy every moment of their life together. They dance in the fields, ride bikes in the hills, shop for jewellery, and even share a passionate kiss.
Kartik captioned the video with a poetic line: “Aansoo uske ho… par… aankhein meri ho (May her tears fall from my eyes).” He also narrated the same line in the background, along with another one: “Batain, jo kabhi puri na ho.
Wadein, jo adhure na ho. Hasi, jo kabhi kam na ho. Ankhein jo kabhi num na ho. Aur Agar ho to bas itna zaroor ho, aansoo uske ho, aur aankhein meri ho (May we have conversations that never end.
May we always keep our promises. May our laughter never end. May our eyes never tear up. And if they do, may her tears fall from my eyes).”
The teaser has received a lot of love from the fans, who praised Kartik and Kiara’s chemistry and expressed their excitement for the film.
Satyaprem Ki Katha is the second collaboration of the actors after the hit horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which released in 2022. The film is directed by Sameer Vidhwans and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. It is slated to release on June 29, 2023.
The film was earlier titled Satyanarayan Ki Katha, but the makers decided to change it to avoid hurting any religious sentiments. Kartik had shared a statement from the director on his Instagram account in 2021, announcing the change in title.
