Scotland vs Tonga – Rugby World Cup 2023: Scots make four changes for huge Pool B match – stream FREE, TV, team news

SCOTLAND are staring down the barrel of Rugby World Cup exit – but a win over Tonga with a bonus point could change everything.

The Scots suffered a damming 18-3 defeat to defending champions South Africa in their opening encounter.

But Tonga’s 59-16 loss to Six Nations holders Ireland was even more embarrassing.

And Gregor Townsend believes that his changes the team could be the difference maker – especially the fire power off the bench.

Townsend said: “We know this is a really important game for us so we’ve put as strong a team as we can to win it.

“The last 20 minutes are going to be important, so to have players like Darcy Graham, Huw Jones and George Horne coming off the bench will give us something different.”
