TOPGUN Shooting Academy organized TOPGUN Winter Cup 2023 under the prime guidance of International Shooter Shimon Sharif and Head Coach Yogendra Shekhawat. The event took place on the 14th and 15th of January 2023, in which participants across the nation participated and tried their luck to clinch medals and achievements.
While talking to the participants at the event, our reporters found that participants not only grabbed perks from the competition but also boosted their confidence level and made them realize their current position and potential.
Young and promising Shooter Arnav said, “I had a better experience from the event as it boosted my confidence and helped me realize my true potential.” 9-year-old and promising shooter Koushiki Chauhan grabbed the attention at the event as she clinches two gold medals in 10m Air Jnr. Rifle Benchstretch and 10m Air Pistol Jnr. Sitting respectively.
Meenal Yadav and Ishita Jain were highlights of the Pistol shooting as they both got Gold in 10m Air Pistol and Youth 10m Air Pistol, respectively, whereas Archishman Pandey clinched Gold in Youth 10m Air Rifle. Young Shooters like Udbhav, Harshita and Rudra also shine in their respective zones.
Events like these are vital in boosting sportspeople’s confidence and reminding them of their actual status in every high-level competitive game.
The closing or medal ceremony gave immense hope to the aspiring shooters and boosted their confidence as those who weren’t able to make medals, were allotted certificates of appreciation. International Shooter and Founder of TOPGUN academy Shimon Sharif wholeheartedly boosted confidence with his motivating and performance-enhancing tips to the shooters. The most astonishing thing was that Mr Shimon Sharif, Mr Yogendra Shekhawat and the whole TOPGUN staff helped, encouraged and inspired the shooters regardless of time limits.
