Samajwadi party released the list of 159 candidates to contest in UP elections. Nahid Hasan got ticket from Kairana, Azam Khan from Rampur. Akhilesh to contest on Mainpuri assembly seat.
The list targeted faces from western UP province and proceeded towards old faces only. Party also given tickets to disputed and criminals like Azam Khan, Nahid Hasan, and Abdullah Azam. The disputed ticket from Unchahar districts is gicven to Manoj Pandey who excluded Swami Prasad Maurya’s son. Earlier Swami Prasad Maurya joined BJP.
Uncle Shivpal Yadav is fielded from Jaswantnagar assembly seat. After allying with SP, Shivpal decided to contest elections on SP’s symbol.
The grandson of Shafiqur Rehman, famous for making Anti-nation and Anti-Hindu comments, also got a ticket from Kundarki.
