Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren was summoned by the enforcement directorate for questioning. Soren was expected to be present at ED regional office in the Hiro area in Ranchi on Thursday.
Hemant Soren skipped the visit in spite of the ED summons. Soren went to Raipur to attend a tribal festival organized by the Chhattisgarh government.
Before leaving for Raipur, CM Soren, addressing the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) workers said, “In the last 20 years, Chhattisgarh state, which has a majority of the Adivasi population, no other governments have celebrated Adivasi Divas. Our JMM government has been celebrating Adivasi Divas as a two-day festival for the last two years.
There is an atmosphere of joy and happiness in the state. Camps are being organized throughout the state to make people aware of their rights and government policies for their welfare.”
‘Talking about the ED summons, Soren slammed the opposition BJP for playing petty politics against him by misusing ED. He said, “I was already invited as a chief guest for Adivasi Mahotsav organized at Raipur. But the opposition is conspiring against me by sending an ED summons to question me today.”
He further added “I request ED to clarify if they have committed a big crime. I challenge ED, rather than sending a summons for questioning arrest me.”
Our Jharkhand is a land of brave fighters. I will fight against injustice like a warrior. ”CM Soren questioned,”” Why is the security outside the ED office increased?? Why are they so afraid of citizens of Jharkhand? When Jharkhandis set a flight against them for their rights, they make those mischievous people not find shelter anywhere to cover their heads.
Jharkandi land is rich in minerals. Some outsiders are getting jobs in the local factories in Jharkhand. Indirectly, they are trying to get control over the rich land of Jharkhand. We will not tolerate CM Hemant Soren appealed to all the JMM workers to be ready for a massive political fight against the BJP.
