The event provides opportunities for European firms to gain further understanding of the country’s semiconductor, electric vehicle and medical care sectors, she added.

Echoing Kiang’s remarks, Taiwan Rep. to Germany Hsieh Chih-wei said strengthened trade connections with global counterparts promote stability and prosperity in Taiwan. Representative to the EU Roy Chun Lee said Europe also needs a resilient and trustworthy partner like Taiwan to ensure prosperity.
