Anthony Albanese will be sworn as 31st PM of Australia on Monday

Labor Party Anthony Albanese, who will be sworn in as Australia’s 31st prime minister on Monday, after his party won Saturday’s general election, will, after being sworn in, travel to Tokyo, Japan, to attend a Quad group conference of nations.

However, Albanese will not be the only Labor leader to swear allegiance that day; and four other members of Parliament will be sworn in. Each of the four members of Parliament was a member of the ‘Shadow Ministry’ led by Albanese in the government of the outgoing prime minister, Scott Morrison. These four important leaders of Anthony’s cabinet are Richard Marles, Penny Wong, Katy Gallagher and Jim Chalmers.

After Former PM Scott Morrison’s exit from the mainstream leadership, Anthony will take part in Quad Group conference made to neutralize the wrongful acts of China. The Quad Group consists of four countries that are; India, USA, Japan and Australia.
