Furious Strictly viewers slam judge Shirley Ballas for ‘unfair’ scoring during first live show

STRICTLY Come Dancing fans have been left seething with Shirley Ballas as they accused her of ‘unfair’ judging on the show.

Viewers watching along at home expressed their frustration over the head judges scores during the first week of the BBC contest.

The decision ruffled feathers online

Shirley wowed fans as she looked elegant in a gorgeous pink gown as she vied to be crowned the best dressed star of the night.

However, it was her scoring that became the talk of X, formerly Twitter, as many slammed her scoring as ‘unfair’.

They suggested that she was choosing to give lower scores to the younger female stars of the show.

Shirley opted to mark The One Show star Angela Scanlon one mark less than her fellow judges which did not sit well with fans.

She gave her a five whilst her fellow panellists gave her a six.

Commenting on her scoring at home, one fan said: “Shirley scoring lower than the other judges for the pretty young female is it? I’m shocked.”

Another added: “Shirley’s still scoring women lower for no reason then.”

A third penned: “Shirley Ballas, underscoring the attractive young women already. I’ll look forward to the over-scoring of the fella’s she fancies.”

Whilst a fourth added: “Jealous Shirley giving lower scores to women again.”

The head judge of the BBC One show faced similar criticism last year.
