MY Mum Your Dad star Elliott has returned to his normal job after finding fame on the ITV reality show.
The finale of the mid-life dating show has recently ended with the grown-up kids giving their blessing to the three couples who met their matches.
Many of the cast members have achieved popularity as a result of them being on the show.
Elliott who met Sharon, an education professional, is one of those who found success after appearing on the dating show.
The father of two’s moment of fame did not last long, as we can now report he has returned to his regular day job as a PE teacher.
Elliot revealed the news he will be heading back to his normal job during a joint Q&A with his son.
A fan asked: “What are you both doing now?”
Elliott responded said: “So, I’ve just gone back to work, so I’m doing that.”
Elliott’s son, Zach, also responded, stating that he is preparing to begin his final year of university in London.
The reality TV star and his love match from the show, Sharon are still in fact together, The Sun can reveal.
They also faced their hurdles as Sharon struggled to let down her walls, built through past hurt.
But the gorgeous couple have proven to be strong on the outside – with his son Zach and her daughter Tia both chuffed.
Elliot took to his instagram as the finale aired, sharing a photo of the cast with the caption: “What a blast”.
Sharon also shared a snap of her and Elliot from the finale, adding: “She smiles… what a journey.”
It comes after Davina told The Sun she was thrilled the show had worked, after she “manifested” the format for older daters.
She said: “I want to present this show for the rest of my life!
“I love watching love blossom, and it blossomed very organically and very slowly and sweetly.
“I’ve been sent photographs of couples since! I’m not going to tell you how many. But there’s a few.
“The show works. I really am Cupid!”
The Sun also told how some of the kids hooked up off camera too.
Viewer favourites Natalie Russell, 44, and Paul Edwards, 47, were unable to survive after leaving the show.
The true cause of their breakup can also be revealed.
“Natalie and Paul enjoyed a great summer together,” a representative for the show, which drew strong ratings for ITV with an average of 2 million viewers watching live, told The Sun.
“They have since agreed it was best to part ways but remain good friends and have been overwhelmed by the support from viewers and fans alike.”
A source added: “As is so often the case with these dating shows, it’s easy for a connection to flourish while in the bubble of filming – there’s no distractions, no real life concerns and you’re united in one common goal to find love.
“Natalie and Paul’s flame burned bright for a few months but balancing life on the outside with nurturing their fledgling relationship proved too tricky.
“With Natalie in Bournemouth and Paul in Bath the distance wasn’t insurmountable, but they were both independent people who had great lives of their own and in the end they decided their love wasn’t greater than the hurdles.”
It shocked viewers because the couple appeared to be the most powerful of the lot.
However, at the show’s finale, where their grown-up children Mazey, 21, and Kaleil, 20, gave them their blessing, they hinted that their relationship could end up failing.
Meanwhile, Roger Hawes, 59 and Janey Smith, 47 were over the moon.
The postman from Chesterfield battled during early episodes, as he came to terms with losing his wife of 31-years Joanne, who died of cancer 18 months ago.
He even made one of his dates cry when he told her how she had died.
Janey and her son William, 19, have now become part of Roger and daughter Jess’ big family.
