STRICTLY Come Dancing is back for a brand new series with 15 fresh-faced celebrities hitting the floor for the first time in a glitzy launch show.
The BBC One show always brings with it an incredible line-up of stars all hoping to clinch the Glitterball trophy – with a host of hopefuls already showing their promise in front of judges Craig, Shirley, Motsi and Anton.
Angela Rippon dazzled the judges with a stunning debut Cha Cha Cha, earning her a score of 28, while Zara McDermott and partner Graziano bagged a 19 for their first dance of the series and Bobby Brazier left dad Jeff in tears after dancing with Diane Buswell.
Meanwhile, fans went wild over Les Dennis’ “reassuringly terrible” debut, dancing the Tango to a rendition of The Human League’s hit Don’t You Want Me – which earned him a score of just 16.
There was no elimination last evening – meaning the real competition will start next Saturday, when one couple will be at risk of eviction.
